High-performance bifacial perovskite solar cells enabled by single-walled carbon nanotubes

Jing Zhang,

Kangyu Ji
et al.

Abstract: Bifacial perovskite solar cells have shown great promise for increasing power output by capturing light from both sides. However, the suboptimal optical transmittance of back metal electrodes together with the complex fabrication process associated with front transparent conducting oxides have hindered the development of efficient bifacial PSCs. Here, we present a novel approach for bifacial perovskite devices using single-walled carbon nanotubes as both front and back electrodes. single-walled carbon nanotube… Show more

“…8 Instead of using graphene, single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) was applied to fabricate bifacial PSCs due to the intrinsic transparency of SWCNT. 9,10 This indicates that the high-transparency SWCNT film might be suitable for the charge recombination layer in 2-T tandem solar cells, 11,12 which motivates us to design a detachable, reassemblable 2-T perovskite/Si tandem solar cell in which each cell can be readily assembled, detached, and reassembled.…”
