High Performance La0.5(Ba0.2Sr0.2Ca0.1)Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ- BaZr0.1Ce0.7Y0.1Yb0.1O3-δ Composite Cathode for Proton-Conducting Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

Abstract: Lack of suitable cathode restricts the development of proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cell (H-SOFC). Perovskite material LBSCCF was synthesized by sol-gel method in this study. It had good chemical compatibility with the electrolyte material BaZr0.1Ce0.7Y0.1Yb0.1O3-δ (BZCYYb). The average thermal expansion coefficients of LBSCCF was 19.92×10-6 K-1, higher than that of BZCYYb.
