High pressure micro plasma discharge: Effect of conjugate heat transfer

Abstract: In recent years there has been growing interest in high pressure non-thermal micro plasma discharge utilizing the Paschen's 'pd' scaling law. At high pressures these plasma discharges were found to be sufficiently "warmer" than the classical non-thermal discharge even though they maintain non-equilibrium characteristics, making it critical to resolve the neutral gas heating in the system. In this current work high pressure micro plasma discharge were simulated using a one dimensional hybrid multi-physics model… Show more

“…Laboratory methods are employed to determine the properties of various materials [10][11][12][13][14][15]. These properties are then used to model the direction of the tooth sample using cohesive meshing techniques [16,17]. Below is a concise overview of the methodology used in conducting these tests.…”

“…Below is a concise overview of the methodology used in conducting these tests. Various mechanical testing techniques are used to quantify the mechanical characteristics of teeth [18][19][20][21][22][23]. These methodologies result in distinct strategies for analyzing data.…”

“…An accurate model with an acceptable response time is desirable and, of course, complex and challenging. First, the engine dynamics are nonlinear and complex [15,[23][24][25][26][27][28]. Second, engine dynamics consist of extensive operating conditions.…”

“…Among the various methods used to produce thin films, sputtering, a form of physical vapor deposition, has gained considerable attention in recent years [25,26]. This technique involves ejecting atoms or molecules from a source material (the target) and depositing them onto a substrate to form a thin film [27][28][29][30][31]. Sputter targets, particularly those intended for research purposes, must meet specific criteria despite their relatively small size [29,[32][33][34].…”

“…It is standard practice to conduct thorough preliminary research to determine the fabrication parameters [41][42][43][44]. Once these parameters are identified, a die of appropriate dimensions is prepared, and the powders are compressed and sintered under carefully controlled conditions [45,46].…”
