Abstract:A broadband microwave photonic time division multiplexing (TDM) multiple‐input‐multiple‐output (MIMO) radar is proposed in which photonic frequency quadrupling is adopted to generate broadband radar signals and photonic frequency mixing is implemented for de‐chirping processing of radar echoes.
