“…Those waveforms indicate a reduction of amplitude about nine times for the waves traveling within the target zone of interest in the limestone. The lower amplitude waveform has been broadened by the presence of the lowvelocity zone which was delineated by travel-time tomography (Saito, 1991). Such lowvelocity inhomogeneity within the limestone formation appears to be a zone of low-saturation, which effect have reduced the compressional wave velocity.…”
