Abstract: Plasma impedance probes (PIPs) are a type of RF probe that primarily measures electron density. This work introduces two advancements: a streamlined analytical model for interpreting PIP-monopole measurements and techniques for achieving ≥1 MHz time-resolved PIP measurements.
