High Ventilation Breathwork practices: An overview of their effects, mechanisms, and considerations for clinical applications

Abstract: High Ventilation Breathwork (HVB) refers to practices employing specific volitional manipulation of breathing, with a long history of use to relieve various forms of psychological distress.
