High-Voltage Impulse Tests in Substations [includes discussion]

Abstract: traveling waves for voltages above the corona level. Figs. 4 and 5 for the higher voltages show that for the steeper fronts applied, the waves were practically all of more than 2 microseconds duration to crest after traveling 1 mile.
