Abstract:The current activities and results from the CMS experiment are reviewed. Some of the most recent results from the analysis of the Run 2 data are presented, including detector related performance studies and physics analyses. The preparation for Run 3 is also addressed and the prospects for the High Luminosity phase of the LHC are briefly outlined.
