Abstract

Enantioselective Organocatalytic Addition of Nitroalkanes to Oxindolylideneindolenines for the Construction of Chiral 3,3-Disubstituted Oxindoles. -The title addition reaction proceeds in the presence of a cinchona-derived urea as the optically active catalyst to give 3,3-disubstituted oxindoles in high yields and excellent enantioselectivties.
