Abstract: Highly stable foams were generated using a gemini surfactant, ethanediyl-1,2-bis(dodecyldimethylammonium bromide) (12-2-12) together with hexanol (C6OH) or heptanol (C7OH), in aqueous solution. There exists the optimum addition for both alcohols.
