Hinokitiol for hypertensive emergencies: Effects on peripheral resistance, cardiac load, baroreflex sensitivity, and electrolytes balance

Abstract: Background and purpose: We previously showed that hinokitiol, a natural monoterpenoid, produces a significant vasodilating action in vitro in both control and hypertensive aortae.
