Abstract:The global prevalence of DM patients in 2014 is 8.3% of the total population in the world. Increased prevalence of DM followed by increased incidence of diabetic foot ulcers. The American Diabetes Association mentioned that in 2010 there were approximately 73,000 cases of non-traumatic limb amputations with a diagnosis of DM.
