Hot spots and labyrinths: Why neuromodulation devices for episodic migraine should be personalized

Abstract: Stimulation protocols for medical devices should be rationally designed. For episodic migraine with aura we outline model-based design strategies towards preventive and acute therapies using stereotactic neuromodulation.
