Abstract: This viewpoint paper focuses on challenges for Swiss physiotherapy education institutes related to the transition towards evidence-based practice and the incorporation of advanced roles within the profession. To tackle such challenges, it is essential to establish structured pathways and competency frameworks and position physiotherapists as integral contributors to innovative healthcare.
