Abstract:Transoral outlet reduction (TORe) is an endoscopic intervention for patients who have weight recurrence, dumping syndrome, or post-prandial hypoglycemia following Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB). TORe offers a minimally invasive alternative to surgical revision, which is often associated with high morbidity rates. This paper will detail the approach to TORe in regard to patient selection, endoscopic technique, and post-TORe outcomes.
