Abstract:Introduction: Obesity is a well-known risk factor for many health problems. Recently, the increasing number of obese pregnant patients deserves our special attention, because maternal obesity is associated with numerous complications during the antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum stages of pregnancy.
