Abstract: Wildlife care and rehabilitation are undertaken by thousands of volunteers throughout Australia every year. Bare-nosed (Vombatus ursinus) and southern hairy-nosed wombats (Lasiorhinus latifrons) regularly come into care, with the demands on wombat carers and the numbers of wombats increasing.
