Abstract:Background: Cardiac arrhythmias are commonly encountered in horses and can impact the performance of a horse, as well as affect the safety of both the horse and rider. To determine the impact of an arrhythmia, an exercising ECG is required.
Aim of the article: This article describes how to record good quality resting and exercising ECG traces to maximise the accuracy of arrhythmia diagnosis and prognosis.
