Hubungan Terapi Kompres Hangat Dan Pemberian Minuman Kunyit Asam Terhadap Penurununan Nyeri Dismenore Pada Remaja Putri SMK Swakarya Palembang

Abstract

Menstruation is priodic and cyclic bleeding from the uterus, accompanied by releasing (escalation) of the endometrium. Basically menstruation is a process of catabolism and occurs under the influence of pituitary and ovarian hormones. Data obtained from the study conducted at Swakarya Palembang in 2019, the number of female students who experienced dysmenorrhea pain were 32 respondents. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of warm compress therapy and consumption of tamarind- turmeric drinks to reduce dysmenorrhea pain in female students. This study used a "pre-experimental" research design with a randomized design of the four group pretest-posttest design to overcome external weaknesses of validity. The randomized control group pretest- posttest design, there were 32 respondents who experienced dysmenorrhea pain as the sample. The independent variable in this study was warm compress therapy and tamarind- turmeric drink therapy while the dependent variable was dysmenorrhea pain. Data collection used primary data using questionnaire sheets to assess the decrease in dysmenorrhea pain before and after the treatment given. Analysis of the study used the Chi-Square statistical test. The results showed a decrease in the pain of dysmenorrhea in those female students in the treatment group after being given warm compress therapy and the 100% tamarind- turmeric drinks which decreased from severe dysmenorrhea to painless pain. The statistical test results obtained p-Value = 0.001 (p-Value <α (0.05)) so that there was a significant correlation between the treatments of giving compress therapy and tamarind-turmeric drinks to reduce the pain of dysmenorrhea in female studentsat Swakarya Vocational School Palembang.
 Menstruasi atau haid adalah perdarahan secara priodik dan siklik dari uterus, disertai pelepasan (dekuamasi) endometrium. Pada dasarnya menstruasi merupakan proses katabolisme dan terjadi dibawah pengaruh hormon hipofisis dan ovarium. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di SMK Swakarya Palembang tahun 2019 jumlah remaja putri yang mengalami nyeri dismenore 32 responden. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan terapi kompres hangat dan pemberian minuman kunyit asam terhadap penurunan nyeri dismenore pada remaja putri.Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian “pre-experimen” dengan rancangan randomized salomon four group pretest-posttest rancangan ini dapat mengatasi kelemahan eksternal validitas yang ada pada rancangan randomizedcontrol group pretest posttest dengan sampel 32 responden yang mengalami nyeri dismenore. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah terapi kompres hangat dan terapi minuman kunyit asam sedangkan variabel dependen adalah nyeri dismenore. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dengan menggunakan lembar kuisioner untuk menilai penurunan nyeri dismenore sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan yang diberikan. Analisa penelitian menggunakan uji statistic Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan penurunan nyeri dismenore terhadap remaja putri pada kelompok perlakuan sesudah diberikan terapi kompres hangat dan pemberian minuman kunyit asam 100% mengalami penurunan dari nyeri dismenore berat menjadi tidak nyeri. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p-Value = 0,001 (p­-Value< α (0,05)) sehingga ada hubungan pemberian terapi kompres danminuman kunyit asam terhadap penurunan nyeri dismenore pada remaja putri SMK Swakarya Palembang.
