Introduction. The development of management as a cultural phenomenon is inextricably linked to the development of world civilization. Moreover, civilization is a kind of driving force for changing management culture. Therefore, the development of a civilizational paradigm for studying management culture is certainly an urgent scientific problem. Purpose and methods. The purpose of the article is to provide a theoretical and methodological substantiation of the civilizational paradigm for studying the phenomenon of management culture. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical principle of cognition, system-synergetic, historical and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of social phenomena and organizational processes in society. Results. The basic theories of the study of civilization are considered. A two-dimensional approach to the study of civilization as a form of movement of social matter is revealed. The role and mechanisms of bifurcation of civilization as a driving force for the restructuring of society and management culture are revealed. The structure, characteristics and patterns of change in the world civilization and management culture of post-industrial society are determined. Conclusions. The scientific novelty of the research results lies in the substantiation of the civilizational paradigm of management research as a socio-cultural phenomenon, which allows to comprehend the deep essence, analyze the genesis and predict possible directions of future development of civilization and management culture. The significance of the study lies in the addition to the science of new provisions on the study of management culture based on the civilizational paradigm, as well as in the possibility of using them in the process of professional training of managers.

Introduction. In the process of a multipolar world forming, recognising its unity and cultural diversity, the problem of strategic management of social development is becoming more relevant. Purpose and methods. The purpose of the article is a theoretical analysis of linear strategies for managing the development of society in the context of cross-cultural differences. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical principle of cognition, systemic, organisational, cultural, historical, and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of trends and patterns in society. Results. The socio-cultural essence of the linear strategy as an expression of the general pattern of social development is revealed. The content of modernisation – the main type of linear strategy is considered. The key determinants of the modernisation strategy in the context of the Western culture of modernity are identified. The author establishes the failure of westernisation, identifies analogues of modern culture and the reasons for their incompleteness in Eastern societies. The prospects of the synthetic concept of modernization are substantiated. Conclusions. The scientific novelty of the research results lies in deepening the theoretical foundations of linear strategic management of society's development in the context of cultural diversity, and their significance lies in the addition of new knowledge about linear strategies to science and the possibility of their use in the training of management personnel for public administration.

Вступ. Етика бізнесу є однією з найбільш актуальних проблем для суспільств із розвиненою ринковою економікою. Її виникнення обумовлено зростаючим впливом бізнесу на політичні, економічні та соціально-культурні процеси, вектор якого не обов’язково сприятливий для людства, особливо сьогодні, коли бізнес переміщається на глобальний рівень, а національні суспільні структури залишаються на локальному. Мета і методи. Мета статті – обґрунтування теоретичних засад бізнес-етики в організації життєдіяльності суспільства, використання яких надасть можливість інтегрувати в систему державного і приватного управління етичну складову й на цій основі гармонізувати взаємовідносини між бізнесом та суспільством.Методологічною основою дослідження є діалектичний принцип пізнання, системний, історичний, культурологічний підходи до вивчення взаємодії бізнесу та суспільства.Результати. З’ясовано соціально-культурні витоки, зміст і форми бізнес-етики «Служіння»: благодійність, меценатство, розвивання економіки. Визначено зміст бізнес-етики «Соціальна відповідальність», сфери і форми її застосування та сучасні проблеми етичного контролю. Встановлено моральні передумови й етичні виміри ділового життя та обґрунтовано способи підтримання ділової етики в суспільстві. Висновки. Наукова новизна результатів дослідження полягає у системно-культурологічному поглибленні розуміння сутності, ролі та значення бізнес-етики в організації життєдіяльності суспільства. Значущість дослідження виявляється у доповненні науки новими теоретичними положеннями про бізнес-етику, а також у можливості використання їх у процесі підготовки підприємців та менеджерів бізнес-організацій.
