Abstract:The hybrid Convergent procedure is approved to treat symptomatic
patients with long-standing persistent atrial fibrillation (AF). Despite
direct visualization during surgical ablation as well as the use of
luminal esophageal temperature (LET) monitoring, esophageal injury is
