Hybrid Nanowire–Rectangular Plasmonic Waveguide for Subwavelength Confinement at 1550 Nm

Abstract: This paper presents a hybrid waveguide based on metal surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) at 1550 nm comprising two silver (Ag) nanowires and a rectangular silicon (Si) waveguide.
