Hybrid numerical method for the ultrasonic wave propagation velocity in orthotropic materials

Abstract: This paper deals with a new hybrid method coupling an analytical and finite element approach for the calculation of the ultrasonic wave propagation velocity in orthotropic materials applied to timber elements.
