Hydroamination – Homogeneous

Abstract: The principal systems that have been developed as homogeneous catalysts for the direct arnination of nonactivated alkenes and alkynes (hydroamination) are discussed. The focus is on the different ways of activating the reactants and the challenges encountered during the development of the catalyst systems. The basic reaction mechanisms and the most recent applications of hydroamination reactions in organic syntheses are discussed.
