Hydrogen bonding, π–π stacking and van der Waals forces-dominated layered regions in the crystal structure of 4-aminopyridinium hydrogen (9-phosphonononyl)phosphonate
Abstract:The structure of the title molecular salt, [C5H7N2][(HO)2OP(CH2)9PO2(OH)], shows a three-dimensional network with hydrogen bonding, π–π stacking, and van der Waals forces-dominated layered regions.
The solid-state structure of the title salt, [H3N(CH2)6NH3][(HO)O2P(CH2)6PO2(OH)], possesses a herringbone motif as a consequence of the interplay of strong hydrogen bonds and non-covalent interactions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
