RESUMO O crescimento desordenado das cidades e o excesso de impermeabilização são problemáticas dos grandes centros urbanos, tendo como consequência principal a ocorrência de inundações e alagamentos. Nesse contexto, a modelagem hidrodinâmica pode ser uma importante ferramenta para a determinação de áreas inundáveis, permitindo estimar as cotas de inundação para diferentes cenários de tempos de retorno (TR) e chuvas de projetos, permitindo, assim, representar mais fielmente a realidade e minimizar erros decorrentes de projetos hidráulicos. Trabalhando em conjunto com o Sistema de Informações Geográficas (SIG), em que a geometria do canal é extraída por meio do Modelo Digital do Terreno (MDT) de alta precisão gerado por levantamento com técnica LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) e software de modelagem hidrodinâmica (Hydrologic Engineering Center — River Analysis System — HEC-RAS), foi possível avaliar diferentes cenários de inundações no trecho canalizado em concreto, no córrego Botafogo, em Goiânia, Goiás. Com os resultados da modelagem hidrodinâmica foi possível avaliar o comportamento da propagação das vazões geradas, constatando-se que para precipitações com TR de 50 anos ou mais, os limites da canalização não suportam os volumes gerados e transportados, provocando inundações em seis trechos críticos. Os dados obtidos pelo HEC-RAS puderam ser validados a partir de registros fotográficos divulgados pela imprensa local e levantamento topográfico dos locais inundados, de modo que a integração entre o SIG e a modelagem hidrodinâmica se mostrou eficiente para o estudo de áreas inundáveis.

The basic flow rate is characterized by an important hydrological component being responsible for the estimation of the water recharge. Due to the difficulty of measurement, mathematical methods are used to calculate the flow separation. However, when hydrographic analysis is based on long historical series, the use of these methods becomes impracticable, making it necessary to use computational resources. A WebGIS (Web Geographical Information System) was developed for data selection and calculation of base flow separation, based on hydrological data from fluviometric stations located in the Taquari-Antas basin, located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. A modified version of the Unified Process was used as a software development methodology. We used the MVC software architecture standard and the programming languages PHP 7.0, HTML5, JS and CSS3 for programmatic development of the constituent layers of the system. The hydrological data comes from the HIDROWEB portal, part of the National Information System on Water Resources (SNIRH), with hydrological information collected by the National Hydrometeorological Network (RHN) coordinated by the National Water Agency (ANA). The system facilitates the use of remote and distributed hydrological data, shared over the Internet, for various hydrological analyzes.

Madukoro area located on the northern coast of Semarang City has been prone to flooding caused by rainfall and seawater high-tide. Ineffective flood control management and land subsidence are considered as the cause of this problem. In order to understand land subsidence effect and flood control performance, location, water surface height of the inundation in West Flood Canal, western part of Madukoro area need to analyze. Flood analysis was conducted using HEC-HMS software and rational method. Flow hydraulics on five channels, i.e. the West Flood Canal, Ronggolawe River, Karangayu River, Arterial Channel and Madukoro were analyzed using HEC-RAS software. Increasing levee level and additional water pumps in Madukoro and Ronggolawe were chosen as flood control alternatives. Its performance was investigated through software simulation. The results showed total runoff volume in all drainage channels for 2-years return period discharge was about 80% of capacity with 0.7 m water depth. Runoff volume in West Flood Canal with 50-years return period discharge was about 40%. Land subsidence 4 cm/year affected the water level increase on West Flood Canal. Operation of 2 - 4 pump units could not significantly decrease water level at flood peak, yet increase flood recession time 6 - 8 hours.
