Abstract: Opioid withdrawal symptoms can interfere with substance use disorder treatment goals. This study investigated the acceptability, feasibility, and treatment effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) as an adjunct to reduce withdrawal symptoms for adults initiating a medically supervised methadone dose reduction.
