Abstract:This paper introduces the design and experiment of a new hyperspectral infrared Fabry-Perot (FP) filter based on Fano resonance. The FWHM (Full Width at Half Maxima) of the transmission peak in infrared band (1-8 μm) generated by a typical FP resonant microcavity is so large that cannot be used to achieve a common hyperspectral filtering. The FP resonant microcavity can be used to filter incident lightwave so as to generate a typical Lorentzian line pattern. Compared with the symmetric Lorentzian line shape, t… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
