Abstract: Objective: Low activity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPAA) has been found in children with ADHD. The condition may be related to the reduced attention regulation capacity and/or to comorbid oppositional defiant or conduct disorder (ODD/CD).
