Abstract: Quin.el'la. N.L. fem. n. Quinella named for the pioneering ruminologist, J.I. Quin, who described the organism in some detail (Quin, 1943). Firmicutes / “Clostridia” / Clostridiales / Veillonellaceae / Quinella Cells are Gram‐stain‐negative and oval shaped .
