Abstract: We demonstrate the synthesis of biogenic supported silver spiked star architectures and their application to increase the electromagnetic field intensity at its tips that enhance plasmoncoupled emission. Tecoma stans floral extract has been used to synthesize silver nanocubes and spiked stars.
