Identification and methionine analog tolerance of environmental bacterial isolates selected on methionine analog containing medium

Abstract: Methionine is the first limiting amino acid in poultry feed. Currently, methionine supplement is synthesized from an expensive chemical process requiring hazardous chemicals.
