Identification, Charecterization and Quantification of Process Related Impurities in Azimsulfuron Technical

Abstract: This manuscript describes identification, isolation and characterization of azimsulfuron impurities. Six impurities ranging from 0.05 to 0.15 % w/w in azimsulfuron technical were detected by a simple reverse phase HPLC method. These impurities were isolated by prep-HPLC and were characterized using IR, 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR and LC-MS/MS.
