“…In a previous study, we reported that P. linteus grown on germinated brown rice (PBR) had anti-tumor activities, which inhibited tumor metastasis in mice and induced apoptosis associated with cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase in human colon cancer cells (Park, Choi, Hong, Hwang, & Park, 2010). In a second study, we isolated atractylenolide I from PBR which exerted anticancer effect against colon cancer cells (Jeon, Jung, Cho, Park, & Moon, 2013).
