Identification of macrocyclic peptides which allosterically activate bacterial cylindrical proteases

Abstract: The caseinolytic protease complex ClpXP is an important house-keeping enzyme in prokaryotes charged with the removal and degradation of misfolded and aggregated proteins and performing regulatory proteolysis.
