Abstract: Introduction: Thyroid follicular proliferations (TFPs) identified on fine needle aspiration cytology can be either follicular lesions of undetermined significance; Bethesda category 3 or follicular neoplasms and lesions suspicious for a follicular neoplasm; Bethesda category 4.
