Imaging and Endovascular Intervention for Thoracic Vascular Trauma

Abstract: This article describes mechanisms, manifestations, imaging, and endovascular treatment of thoracic vascular injuries. Improvements in automotive safety features have decreased the overall likelihood of traumatic rupture of the aorta (TRA) resulting from a collision.
