Immersion Corrosion Tests to Evaluate Polyaspartic Coatings on Steel

Abstract: In this study, a waterproof polyaspartic coating used for concrete structures was modified into an anti-corrosion coating system to prevent steel assets from corroding. A micaceous iron oxide barrier, a zinc phosphate corrosion inhibitor and a novel resin hardener were added to the polyaspartic coating.
