Immobilised teicoplanin does not demonstrate antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract: Antibacterial bone biomaterial coatings appeal to orthopaedics, dentistry and veterinary medicine. Achieving the successful, stable conjugation of suitable compounds to biomaterial surfaces is a major challenge.
