IMMOBILIZATION HYPERCALCEMIA AFTER SINGLE LIMB FRACTURES IN CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

Abstract: To ascertain cerebral metabolic responses to hypoglycemia with superimposed hypoxia, newborn rats were given regular insulin (30 u/kg 6.c.).Animals were observed for up to 2 hrs with no ill effects, inspite of blood glucose concentrations of 0.75 W 1 .
