Abstract:Autoimmune dermatitis, specifically interface dermatitis, is rarely reported in non-human primates. This report describes a case of idiopathic immune-mediated dermatitis clinically manifesting as palmoplantar hyperkeratosis in a rhesus macaque, successfully controlled with the use of long-term oral corticosteroid therapy.
