Immunocomplex changes in the lacrimal fluid and in the blood serum of patients with herpesvirus keratoconjunctivitis and their correction

Abstract: The quantitative and qualitative composition of circulating immune complexes (CIC) in the lacrimal fluid and blood serum of patients with herpesvirus keratoconjunctivitis (ИКС) caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) were studied. The effectiveness of the treatment by gammalin and nimesil was evaluated. 65 patients with ИКС from 24 to 54 years of age of both sexes were examined.
