Abstract:This letter expands the treatments of wideband noise analysis of antenna arrays by including bandwidth effects on beam-equivalent receiver noise temperature, T rec , and the active reflection coefficient, act. The particular focus of the letter is on receiver noise decorrelation in wideband systems having noise bandwidth f B 1 Hz. The new analysis and simulations show increase in T rec and the departure of act from that obtained using contemporary analyses for f B =1 Hz. Although the paper also shows that for … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
