“…The results showed that the highest near-surface air temperature was observed in August 2019 and 2021, while the lowest temperature occurred in May 2019 and 2021. By comparing the findings with previous studies ( Keikhosravi and Fadavi, 2021 ), it was found that polluted metropolises such as Tehran and Isfahan have lower wind speed, which contributes to air stability and pollution accumulation.
