Abstract:Impact of cloud vertical structure (CVS) on a northward-progressing rainfall episode of the East Asian summer monsoon (EASM) is explored using the Weather Research and Forecasting model, in which CloudSat observation-based vertical structure of cloud liquid water content (LWC) can be imposed.
