Abstract:Background: The efficiency of endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is related to the electrical impedance of the injection solutions. It is therefore possible to postulate that improving impedance may enhance resection rates while minimizing the risks.
