Implementation and analysis of 32 channel MDRZ DWDM system at narrow channel spacing

Abstract: This work is proposed to examine the modified duobinary modulation scheme in a fast DWDM framework. In this work, the system is simulated with 32 channels having a limit of 40 Gbps multiplexed with the channel spacing of 80 90 and 100 GHz to perceive 1.2 Tbps complete transmission distance over the optical range of 250 km by utilizing scattering remuneration strategy. The 40 Gbps is encoded by utilizing Mach Zehnder modulator (MRZ) inferred by CW laser of power - 10 dBm, - 5 dBm,0 dBm,5 dBm,10 dBm. In the syst… Show more

“…Carrier suppressed return to zero format is more impenetrable toward combined effect, chromatic dispersion of SPM and GVD and filtering because of its narrow spectrum and CSRZ is advance modulation format of RZ modulation. [20][21][22]27]. CSRZ block diagram shown in figure 1 here, NRZ optical pulse is being coded for PRBS sequence at 40Gbps data rate with sample per bit of 32 with sequence length is 256 and 8192 number of samples is collected which is given to NRZ pulse generator, light generated by CW laser this light intensity is modulated by passed through back-to-back connected Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) modulator and Mach-Zehnder Interferometer extinction ratio of 30 dB.…”
