The purpose of many studies has been to investigate the causes of a particular outcome. In such a context, knowledge of the meaning of the term 'causes' and its scope is particularly important. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to investigate a cause-effect classification that is still not popular among scholars on cause-effect relationships. This was based on the classification of causal relationships called 24 Paccayo (condition) in Buddhist philosophy. Meanwhile, efforts have been made to use Internet references instead of sources to make it easier for others to understand. This qualitative study revealed several things. That is 1. Still not popular among academic and research community 24 Paccayo (condition) classification is a scientific classification about cause-effect relationships. 2. That there are basically 24 types of conditions that influence a particular outcome and that there is an ordered relationship between them. 3. That this classification is more appropriate for social science studies involving human behavior. 4. That the source of the causes affecting human behavior originates within itself. It was realized that this scope is very deep and an essential, scientific body of knowledge. Therefore, we suggest the scholars to study further in this regard.

“…Genetik algoritmalar yöntemi gibi makine öğrenmelerine dayalı yöntemlerde kestirimlere yönelik yanlı hatalar üretilmesi problemi olarak açıklanan aşırı uyum sorunlarının önüne geçmek için veri seti eğitim (training) ve test (testing) seti olmak üzere iki alt gruba ayrılır (Kushchu, 2002;Žegklitz ve Pošík, 2015). Bu nedenle, verilerin %70'i eğitim seti (n=3663) ve %30'u test seti (n=1569) olmak üzere (Ahmed ve Elaraby, 2014;Pahmi, Saepudin, Maesarah, Solehudin ve Wulandari, 2018) ikiye ayrılarak analiz işlemleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu araştırmayla öğrencilerin okuma becerilerini yordayan özelliklerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, PISA 2015 uygulamasına katılan 42 farklı ülkeden 5232 on beş yaş grubu öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri, PISA 2015 programı verileri üzerinden sağlanmış olup, genetik algoritmalar yöntemi kestirimine dayalı regresyon modeli esasıyla analiz edilmiştir. Genetik algoritmalar yöntemi ile okuma becerilerini en iyi derecede yordayan değişkenlerden oluşan regresyon modeli için değişken seçim işlemi yapmak istenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, cinsiyet, baba eğitim durumu, evde internet kullanımı, evde konuşulan dil, sahip olunan ekitap okuyucu sayısı, okuma becerisini ölçen maddeleri yanıtlama hızı ve evdeki kitap çeşitliliği ve sayısı değişkenlerinin öğrencilerin okuma becerilerini istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı saptanmıştır. Yordama düzeyi anlamlı bulunan değişkenlerdeki farklılaşmanın öğrencilerin okuma becerilerinde de anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmaya yol açtığı anlaşılmıştır.

Recruitment is the main key in an effort to improve the quality of human resources in a company. Good or bad employees greatly affect the quality of the company. Therefore, it is necessary to be thorough and take a long time in screening applicants in order to get competent, professional and as expected prospective employees. The absence of professional staff to conduct employee selection is the background of this research. So the researcher uses the CART algorithm for the classification of employee recruitment, so it is hoped that it can help companies in conducting employee selection. The dataset was obtained from the selection of freelance daily workers at the Pati Regency Civil Service Police Unit in 2018, totaling 290 prospective employees. Based on calculations on 5-fold cross validation, the resulting accuracy is 98.27%, precision is 99.13% and recall is 96.88%.
