INTRODUCTION: In recent years, there has been a convergence between Artificial Intelligence and neuroscience, particularly in studying the brain and developing treatments for neurological disorders. Artificial neural networks and deep learning provide valuable insights into neural processing and brain functioning. Recent research tries to explain how neural processes influence an individual's happiness. OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the interaction between neuroscience and happiness based on the advances in Artificial Intelligence. METHODS: A bibliometric analysis was performed with articles from the Scopus database in 2013-2023; likewise, the VOSviewer was used for information processing. RESULTS A total of 603 articles were obtained, and it is evident that the most significant scientific production is centered in the United States (184), United Kingdom (74), and China (73). Three clusters are generated from the Co-occurrence - Author Keywords analysis. The first cluster, red, is related to Artificial Intelligence applications for predicting happiness; the second cluster, green, is associated with Artificial Intelligence tools in neuroscience; and the third cluster, blue, is related to neuroscience in psychology. CONCLUSION: Neuroscience research has made significant leaps in understanding mental processes such as emotions and consciousness. Neuroscience has encountered happiness and is opening up to an approach that seeks evidence to understand people's well-being supported by Artificial Intelligence.

Introduction: power outages are a common problem in many parts of the world due to various reasons, it is important to consider self-sustaining energy as a viable alternative.Objective: to determine the knowledge in the Pueblo Unido sector about self-sustaining energy as an alternative to power outages.Method: an observational, descriptive, and cross-sectional study was conducted to assess knowledge related to self-sustaining energy as an alternative to power outages in the Pueblo Unido sector in 2024.Results: 52.1 % are female, 43.8 % have power outages every month, 60.4 % usually have power outages for one hour, 52.1 % have problems with delays in household and work activities during the year, 54.2 % have ever considered installing self-sustaining energy systems, 87.5 % believe that the implementation of self-sustaining energy could reduce the frequency of power outages.Conclusions: the potential of self-sustaining energy systems based on motor and bicycle generators to address the challenges related to power outages is highlighted, while promoting sustainability, resilience, and community well-being

Introduction: the increase in electricity demand on a global scale implies damage to the Earth's biodiversity. Several Latin American countries experienced a significant economic increase, which generated a greater demand for energy.Objective: to determine the factors that affect electricity consumption in the foreign sector, Latacunga canton, Belisario Quevedo parish, during the period from January to February 2024.Method: an observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out on the factors that affect electricity consumption in the foreign sector, Latacunga canton, Belisario Quevedo parish, during the period from January to February 2024.Results: 87 % of the total sample have only one refrigerator, 50 % open the door more than five times a day, respondents do not spend time performing the corresponding maintenance for their refrigerator, 100 % do not know the energy efficiency rating of their refrigerators, and indicated that the use of technologies such as programming and energy and temperature savings has a high impact on electricity consumption, which is 75 %.Conclusions: the critical importance of energy efficiency in the use of refrigerators is highlighted, and the need to raise awareness among users about practices they can adopt to significantly reduce electricity consumption is underlined
